Some Clarifications

Yes, many of you have read and noted that The Guitar Rescue and Mill Run Music have announced that the businesses will be merging. But what does this actually mean? Let me answer a few questions for you all…

The merger does not complete until the end of January 2023.

While the announcement is official, the merger is still being completed. Obviously there are a lot of procedural tasks to be accomplished before everything is up and running smoothly. Until the wrinkles are smoothed out, all sales inquiries should be directed to Theo at Theo@theGuitarRescue.com OR via phone/text to (609)-306-7759.

Where is the new location? Are you moving?

Any sales/trades proceedings will be handled on a day-to-day basis at the current Guitar Rescue facility on 200 Whitehead Road (08619) unless otherwise noted. All business is conducted at the current location of 200 Whitehead Road, Suite 204 unless arranged otherwise by the sales team.

Can I buy (BLANK) that is available online?

Yes, but please coordinate with Theo at the address & number above until the buy/sell/trade system is up and functioning 100%.

Ok, so what was that announcement on Xmas eve really about then?

The merger announcement was simply that - an announcement of a procedural, internal-level merger of businesses. While the combined function of this newly merged business has yet to fully resolve and prove effective, we are trying out best to adapt to our newly established model. The aforementioned announcement was the first step into establishing a new business entity that will be a combination of both repairs and sales that were once separate ventures.

When will we know more about, well, everything?

While the details are still being worked out, we expect to announce a lot of changes to the daily operations at The Guitar Rescue throughout the 1st quarter of 2023 (January through March). Everything in the works should be solidified and functioning by the beginning of the 2nd quarter of 2023 (beginning April). Until then, this is the place to stay tuned into for more announcements on all the happenings within the business.

Can I just stop in to get something listed online?

No. All visits remain strictly governed by an online booking platform. Until such visits are available to book, please remain patient and contact Theo (above) to coordinate any pickups/drop-offs/returns of merchandise.

So who can I talk to about purchasing something I see on your site or Reverb page?

This all seems really complicated…

I know this all seems a bit muddled and confusing to some, but wrinkles in our newly merged venture need to be ironed out over time and it will take a bit of that to sort through the new operations therein. While we work on these new handlings, we ask for a little bit of patience and cooperation as we fine tune the new machine. In the end, we’ll be able to serve the music community better than ever before!
