Dreams Come True

If anyone would have told us a year ago that we would be in this new environment, we would have laughed. To be blunt: The new facility is a dream come true!

Since moving into the new space we have been able to re-grow the retail side of the business - something that many may recall came to a grinding halt at the onset of COVID shutdowns in 2020. Today, we have a selection of strings & accessories available at our front counter as well as a large rotating stock of used guitars for purchase.

We have made a lot of new dealership partners over the past few weeks. The biggest have been JHS pedals and Electro-Harmonix (who provide not only EHX branded products, but also a variety of Eminence speakers as well as JJ tubes and other products previously unavailable in our shop). We are also Bartolini direct dealers as well as Aguilar, Vox, and Blackstar dealers. There are many many more to be announced, but for now these should suffice!

With our new climate controlled lobby & workshop areas we can now offer a comfortable environment for our customers and their guitars as well as do some minor repairs as a “while you wait” experience. While we still insist on scheduling appointments for most visits, we are not turning down walk-in or unscheduled visits (note that appointment-based visits will receive priority attention).

As far as the move-in process goes, we are about 80% finished with all of our upgrades & changes to the property. The final few elements look to be added in the next week and our move-in will be officially complete. The street level signage on both the rear and front ends of the building are currently being replaced for ease of locating the storefront, while door signs are currently being shipped out. We’ll be sure to post photos when the work is completed, but until then just be sure to look for the large red & white “winged guitar” symbols in the windows on both the street and parking lot sides of the building.

In the same respect, the entire staff has been getting used to a new layout and a new flow of business activity. Everything from invoicing to incoming and outgoing work processing is now functioning in a new way that requires us all to learn where changes might need to be made in order to better serve our clients. Obviously time will tell what methods are most effective, but we’re getting there!

Our phone systems will be changing shortly as well - and this may pose a small level of disruption as it changes into our desired platform. If your calls or messages are not responded to past 24 hours, please follow-up with either an email or a text message since these avenues of contact will remain the same as they have been.
